If a computer that is already using an fi-/SP-Series scanner does not recognize a newly purchased an fi-/SP-Series scanner, update the driver and scanning application to the latest version.
Download the latest version of the driver and application from this page .
New scanner models require newer versions of the driver and scanning application. They may not work if older versions are used.
In addition, even for the same model, newer versions of the driver and scanning application may be required depending on when the scanner was manufactured.
