Preview Window
- In PaperStream Capture, a confirmation window appears each time I save a file.
- A preview image using [Assisted Scan] is different from the scanned image, or a part of scanned image is not displayed in the preview.
- An image displayed in [Preview] is different from the scanned document, or a part of the document is not displayed.
- It takes time to display the scanned image in [Preview] window.
- A memory shortage occurs in [Preview] window.
Scanning
- Scanned images are not automatically rotated to the correct orientation.
- Long and narrow documents are fed skewed and images are tilted.
- Lines or dots appear in the image.
- In spite of selecting "Continuous Scan" using flatbed for scanning, the application only output the image data for one page. What should I do?
- A blank page is output as a second page when I specify "Double-page Spread" for [Carrier Sheet] or [Front/Back Merging].
- Scanning fails when [Split Image] is selected. How can I fix it?
Installation
- PaperStream Capture Pro cannot be activated with "Cannot activate because corruption detected".
- Unable to activate/deactivate PaperStream Capture Pro (Ver 4.x or lower).
- An installation error occurs with PSC2100UPD.exe (an updater)
- The hardware event of the scanner is different from what it was before the installation.
- Even though PaperStream IP (ISIS) and FUJITSU ISIS™ driver are installed, either FUJITSU ISIS driver or PaperStream IP (ISIS) cannot be selected.
- The Help window does not appear after the installation of PaperStream IP has completed. How can I fix it?
Connection
- No scanner can be found on Windows 11, version 24H2 (SX03047E)
- My scanner cannot be connected to the computer via a network. (for wired LAN connection)
- "No scanner is found (SX03047E)" appears.
- My scanner has a connection problem.
- Unable to connect to the NTP server. Or system time synchronization fails.
- I cannot import the scanner setting information of fi-8040 via fi Series Network Settings (browser) with the message "The scanner setting information to be imported has already been set."
Image Quality
- The color of scanned images appears faded. Can I adjust the color density?
- Black borders appears around the image. Or, a part of the image appears missing.
- Dot noise may appear in scanned images when I configure Scan settings to Black and White. What should I do?
- An odd image is output when scanning with "Scanners and Cameras Wizard". How can I fix it?
- An odd image is output when specifying to output color image in TIFF format. How can I fix it?
- Color image is output in spite of specifying [Grayscale] in Image Mode. What should I do?
Maintenance
- The text printed with the imprinter are faint or have lines in it.
- How should I deal with a message to replace consumables?

- How do I keep the scanner operating properly?
Error Messages
- The "Check" LED lights when powering up the scanner.
- An error "The scanner cannot be used." or "No scanner is found." occurs when I try to use the scanner connected to the network.
- An error occurs when I save a file in a particular folder.
- "Not enough memory" appears while scanning documents.
- "Could not obtain a list of domain or workgroup names. Wait for a while, and try again." appears when I try to open a list of network folders/network printers. What should I do?
- "Network is busy. Try again later." may appear. What should I do?
Others
- I cannot open a file, such as "Readme" and "Use conditions", even if I select them from the [Start] menu.
- Scanned images are skewed.
- The scanner setting information file (*.cab) is detected as a virus and cannot be exported
- The output image size is smaller than the scanned document. (PaperStream Capture/PaperStream IP)
- Paper size is not detected correctly with the flatbed scanner.
- Paper size is not detected correctly, even though [Automatic Size] is configured for [Cropping].
