The following problems have been detected with Image Scanner Driver for macOS.
Problem 1
When a scan is performed using ImageCapture with Bitmap specified for file format, stripe pattern appears on the scanned image.
Workarounds for problem 1
Perform a scan in Tiff or Jpeg format.
Problem 2
When you select the scanner in Image Capture for the first time after installing the driver, the following message appears.
Workarounds for problem 2
By selecting [Open], the scanner becomes usable.
The above message appears only when Image Capture is launched for the first time after installing the driver. It does not appear after reinstallation.
Problem 3
When multiple pages are scanned using Image Capture with the setting below, images from the second and subsequent pages may not be output correctly. This issue has been observed on macOS Golden Gate 27 beta.

- Format: PNG or JPEG 2000
- Orientation: Duplex
Workaround for problem 3
Specify a file format other than PNG or JPEG 2000 in Image Capture.
