Paper size is not detected correctly, even though [Automatic Size] is configured for [Cropping].
- Size detection may fail when scanning the following documents.

- Documents that are not rectangular or square
In this case, select [None] for the [Cropping] setting and specify the paper size according to the documents to be scanned.
- Documents with a dark background color or documents with straight lines on the edges
In this case, select [Accuracy] for [Priority] or change to above setting.
- If you are using the [Cropping] function(*) when scanning with the flatbed, refer to "Paper size is not detected correctly with the flatbed scanner.”
* For the PaperStream IP driver, [Automatic Size] for [Cropping] is enabled by default.
