If the paper size is detected correctly with the ADF scanner but not with the flatbed scanner, check the following.
- If [Cropping] is set to [Automatic Size]* (which automatically detects paper size) in PaperStream IP profile settings for the flatbed, perform one of the following.

- Use the Black Document Pad option.

". - Scan a document with the document cover opened.
Attention: If the document has folds or curls, it cannot be scanned correctly with the cover open, and using the dedicated pad is recommended.
- Use the Black Document Pad option.
- If paper size detection still fails after performing the above measures, refer to "Paper size is not detected correctly, even though [Automatic Size] is configured for [Cropping].".
*: For the PaperStream IP driver, [Automatic Size] for [Cropping] is enabled by default.
