Make sure the document is loaded straight. If [Automatic Size] or [Deskew] is set for [Cropping] on the PaperStream IP driver, the driver will detect skew in the document image and automatically correct it even when the document is scanned at an angle.
If [Automatic Size] is set, even if you load multiple documents of different sizes into the ADF and scan them consecutively, the output results match each paper size.
How to load documents straight into the feeder
Perform the following to ensure that documents are loaded straight:
- Smooth out any folds or curl on the documents.
- Load the documents into the ADF paper chute (feeder) with the width sides of the sheets aligned.
- Adjust the side guides on the ADF feeding chute (feeder) so that they are against the width sides of the documents and ensure that there are no gaps between the edges of the documents and the side guides.
When scanning long documents, load the documents into the ADF feeding chute (feeder) one sheet at a time.
