Image Quality

  • The color of scanned images appears faded. Can I adjust the color density?
  • Black borders appears around the image. Or, a part of the image appears missing.
  • Dot noise may appear in scanned images when I configure Scan settings to Black and White. What should I do?
  • An odd image is output when scanning with "Scanners and Cameras Wizard". How can I fix it?
  • An odd image is output when specifying to output color image in TIFF format. How can I fix it?
  • Color image is output in spite of specifying [Grayscale] in Image Mode. What should I do?
  • Previewed image and scanned image are different.
  • Scanned images may have a black line along the crease between the merged pages when scanning an A1 or A2 folded paper to combine the front and back images, using fi-7460, fi-7480, fi-7600, fi-7700, or fi-7700S.
  • Unexpected stains or lines, which are not on the original document, appear.
